Museu das Telecomunicações - Oi Futuro Flamengo (Telecommunications Museum – Oi Futuro Flamengo)

Located in the cultural centre Oi Futuro Flamengo, the museum is installed in the old building of the Estação Telefônica Beira-Mar (Beira-Mar Telephone Station), which was one of the first in the country. Inaugurated in 1918, it was later transformed into the Museu do Telephone (Telephone Museum). Equipped with a bold structure with interactive projection systems, visitors are placed face to face with the history of human communication in Brazil and worldwide. The interactivity and playful experience are the main traces of the visit and succeed to promote an approach between the public and the telecommunications heritage in an experience that refers both to the past, present and future.
